At Mankato Packaging, we strive to provide an experience second to none when it comes to your interactions with our organization. With this in mind, we have built a small but mighty family of employees to guide our customers through the packaging process. Paired with new equipment, process improvements, and facility updates, we are looking forward to creating successful partnerships with our clients in 2022.
A new gluer will be arriving to the plant in January which will provide us with additional capabilities, quicker delivery, and increased efficiency. This new machine will also cull out cartons with errors, providing our customers with a higher quality product. Additional capabilities will include 4 and 6-corner cartons. Paired with our state-of-art KBA printer that has 6 color capability with Aqueous coating and runs up to 14,000 sheets an hour, we are creating a seamless process for our packaging customers.
Safety will continue to be a focus for us as we move into the new year, as we continue to update procedures and set + meet internal safety goals. Keeping our team + guests safe in our facility will continue to be top of mind as we head into the new year. Being a small, domestic business also gives us the opportunity to meet your needs without delays from supply chain issues. Customers can expect deliveries on-time and to standards without long wait times or back-orders.
We will also maintain and strive to continue meeting sustainability needs for our customers. Our packaging is made from 100% recyclable paperboard, using environmentally friendly inks that contain significant vegetable/soy oils to protect recyclability. The aqueous coatings utilized are water-based. We are partnered with a leader in the recycling business to achieve the goal of becoming a zero-waste production facility and will continue working towards this goal.
